Wrong Way #1082: Camping for Udder’s Birthday
Hare(s): Udder Fuck Up
Location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/TMGVo75ZUcBPSrWV7?g_st=ic
It’s between Crown King and Horse Thief Basin. 4 wheel drive not needed but a higher clearance vehicle is required to get to the location, Subarus, Rav 4 etc type vehicles will make it to the location easily. A Honda Civic or sedan type vehicle will not make it. Carpools are encouraged. I plan on head(!)ing to the campsite on Friday afternoon. If my chosen location happens to be occupied, I will mark the turn off from the main road in an obvious way (likely with an LBH towel and flashing red lights).
Time: 12pm
Hash Cash: 6 pack of canned beer
Bring: Head(!)lamp, chalk, low expectations, and everything you need to survive a night or two in the wilderness
Other info: I’m going camping for my birthday…the hash is invited! This will be a “non-traditional” Wrong Way. No hash cash besides a six pack. This is a “bring all of your own stuff to survive a night or two in the wilderness” campout. No food or water will be provided by mis-management. No campfires allowed unless something changes between now and the event time. This is primitive, poop in the woods type camping (bring something to dig a hole…no surface pooping allowed!)
I do realize that there is a Hare Club for Men scheduled on Sunday the 17th. If you leave in the morning on Sunday, you should be able to easily make it to this event. I have also scheduled the hash time at 12pm Saturday so that it should still be light out after the hash for you to make it safely back to Phoenix should you choose to leave after the hash.
We are back to “regular” hashing…and it should go without saying, but we are all half minds after all, that if you feel even the slightest sick, STAY THE FUCK HOME!!! Don’t fuck things up for the rest of us!!! Be respectful of your fellow hashers’ personal requirements for social distancing (ask before hugging/high-5ing/fist bumping etc.).
Dog Friendly: yes
