The Phoenix Hash has been supporting the Crown King race for over 20 years now, and we’re doing it again. We’ll be manning the aid station at Fort Misery, which is at mile 22.
We’ve won Best Aid Station 4 years running, and we’d like to take it again!
We need to have the station up and running by 8 am, which is why we camp out on Friday night.
In addition to regular race-ist fare, we will also provide an open bar!
IMPORTANT NOTE!!! You MUST have a HIGH CLEARANCE 4×4 vehicle to get to this location. Due to multiple tows in the past, Thor and Bitch ‘N Hoe have VETO POWER over any vehicles wanting to make this trip. We’re (meaning Thor really is) done with the towing!
We’ll be camping out on Friday night, supporting the event on Saturday morning, then camping Saturday night as well.
So bring your camping gear, and let’s coordinate alcoholic beverages to provide for the runners and for ourselves.
