Hashing is first and foremost “A drinking club with a running problem”. It is a group of harriers (men) and harriettes  (women) that join together with a kindred spirit to release the tensions of everyday life, unleash their crazy side with good humor and not give a thought to others based on social status, political followings, or other insignificant beliefs.

We, the Phoenix Hash House Harriers, typically run 3-5 miles during weekday hashes and 4-7 miles during weekend hashes.  We lay trail so that the fastest and slowest hashers finish at roughly the same time.  In addition to runners of all skill levels, we also encourage walkers to join us at any and all events.

We do Wednesday hashes, Saturday hashes and we also hash full moons and the occasional special event such as the Phoenix Marathon and our annual Red Dress Run.  We will meet anywhere throughout the valley to hash.  Check the calendar for the when are where.
