Phoenix Hash House Harriers

What:? Tucson Jhavelina’s and the Phoenix H3 collide once again to make waves in the river. It is time once again, to horrify, mystify, terrorize, and pleasurize (?) the  people of Arizona, while floating down the Great Salt River. No need to be a hasher to tag along!

When:? Sunday, July 11th 2010, 10am-ish meet time. I will take an hour to sort everyone and everything out in proper order prior to departure. Trip is about 4 1/2hrs

Where:? Salt river recreation area near the sheriff station (map below)

How much:? $15 dollars for the tube and bus ride. $12 for tube only. If enough people are interested in putting in a few extra bucks for food (sandwiches, chips, ect.) I will make some arrangements just be sure to let someone know.

Other info:

Stuff you might need.

1. Beer, cooler (yours or someone elses)  with ice and we can sort out a consolidated cache of booze in the parking lot. Remember no glass or foam coolers!

2. Sunblock, its a 4+ hr trip (you may get deported at the end if you get too dark, trust me)

3. Water shoes (bare foot really doesn’t work well)

4. A sheet,  from goodwill or taken from someones house.

We will have things like small garbage bags, dry boxes and dry bags for some small things (you don’t need much other than beer out there really) We will stop halfway down and break for lunch and restock or swap out our coolers.
